NAJAH YUSUFF WRITES ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
Indeed truer words were not spoken.
In my society, there are some matters that calls for exclamation but are regard less, one of which is the "Domestic violent ".Domestic violent is seen as a way or means of dominating another in a family using an inappropriate or scurrility means. It is also an act of abused involving physical or mental effort with the aim of frustrating another in a household. It takes many forms like battering, beating, slandering e.t.c
The causes of this inhumane act is not far fetched as it is more of likely to be a change in feelings due to some reasons that is differ depending on circumstance. To sight as an example, a boy has been happily chatty through the day but suddenly became moody when the night sway in.This suggest that his happiness is find in broad day light and change in atmosphere lead to his change in attitude. Here, partners understanding is needed.Have you as a spouse ever considered or thoroughly examine the reason behind the change in attitude of your beloved one and what steps have you taken to curb the consecutives? .
Moreso, In an average background, change in financial status often lead to frustration and ultimately domestic violence. In this situation, female counterpart may mouth wash the husband when things are becoming unbearable and you know, we female sometimes have this shallow thinking that falling in the financial status of the family is due to husband 's negligence and in extention he is probably seeing another woman.Note-many unpleasant things comes out of frustration. Here, females usually fell victim.
However, the effect of domestic violent on children should not be overlooked. In the first instance, I would want you to know that children of now adays learn faster by viewing to hearing. We absorb that which we see with naked eye easily and consequently, we always felt the need to pratice them.A child born and raised in a violent home will surely consumed and react violently in the outside world.Though some dignified children from violent home may keep the spirit under constructive control but somehow, the pressurized water will eventually provide the steam.
Futhermore, domestic violence in some cases is used to arrive at a desired result as we sometimes "mar to make ".But when the violent continue, it is no more ordinary then divorce is inevitable.
In some cases, domestic violent lead to loss of life nd properties if there is any.A case study is an alleged adultery that happened in my area.In the course of self defense by the wife, she abused the husband putting salt on his hidden wound.Out of frustration, he beat her severely. The matter was later settled having seeked the redress of elders.
After some months, the wife in retaliation poisoned her husband food but unfortunately, it was an innocent daughter that ate it all and died. The wife was arrested for murder and the spouse remarried. But the woman he remarried to is ultimately after the family property and she achieved all her aims, after which she left the husband.Imagine how a beautiful and wonderfully built household fell in a short run.
Thus, violence brings nothing but destruction at every stands but more when it comes to household. It is a symptom of poverty and note-The future of children is always at stake.
Believe is achieving, have trust in your spouse no matter what and even if there is any cockroach in his/her cupboard, It should be settled amicably because children raised in violent home might not utter a word, thier creator is definitely bidding a curse for bringing them into the world of frustration and violence. It is important to know that parents carries the burden whether a child become responsible or not.No matter how far, the child story shall always be traced back to his origin(family background). So therefore, play your role in sustaining peace in your household to safe many including yourself and the unforseeable future
